Will had come back from London in a foul mood and was keeping a low profile. Sure enough, word had spread among the guides, but no one dared ask him how his audition had gone, it was all too obvious, and they weren’t supposed to know, anyway. The sun shone again and Kelsey’s rota seemed relentlessly busy.

It was getting on for a fortnight since the shoot that had ended so abruptly and awkwardly, when two things happened to disturb Kelsey’s usually quiet and very early breakfast.
